Cleaning Ducts
This home had smoke damage after the Lilac Fire. Even though the fire flames were out, homes were left behind with the smell it. You could no longer see the flames but you could smell them. Soot settles onto everything. It is not that noticeable to the eye but when we take one of our smoke sponges and wipe the wall, then you can see a dark black residue left on the sponge. Not only do the walls and items need to be wiped down but the soot can settle up in the air ducts which then need to be cleaned out completely. As you can see in the picture here we use special equipment to clean out the smoky smell so the family who lives here can breathe clean, fresh air again.
